I have seen this before though; been watching this project for a few years now -- he started this well before the DVS revolution, so it makes a lot more sense in a world without DVS, at least the way it's implemented, though it requires an expensive turntable feature (it depends on being able to change the speed of the turntable to change the pitch). This is something that is probably a lot easier and cheaper to implement in software solutions (though of course you'd still need a modified mixer of course). On the youtube page though it says he's working on a similar project that could actually be sold, so I assume he's going in more of a software direction with this.
