hm. iīm sorry to say that but i think you should practise a bit more. the kids sample doesnīt really fit the key of the track. also the kids dubstep track is totally distorted and your gain is to low compared to the first track. the loop roll drops are getting a bit annoying and theyīre also way to loud.dunno what you did at min 4:08 (heavy volume drop). min 4:50 distorted drums and bassline (donīt know if it was meant to be). min 7:03 the drop takes to whole feeling out of the song that is playing. nin vocal samples are way way too loud.
all in all i have to say, that you really need to practise more. check your vol levels and quality of mp3, and at last you should try and find tracks who fit well together. i mean there is a lack of the central theme in this mix (trackselection doesnīt makes sense)
i hope i havenīt been to harsh.
practise practise young padawan ;)
Why would you think that? Just cos he sounded like he'd created the best thing since sliced bread going by the OP and then you step in, cut his heart out, swap his balls for his brain and then just to rub salt in the wounds you slap him over the face with Heather Mills' fake leg.
Why would he think that was harsh? :D
I though panda's were meant to be cute and cuddly....
Fair description there Bunford.
Nah, not to harsh... Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep all that in mind...
Sounds like you've got auto-talkover turned on for that NIN vocal. The Track should be the focus there, with the acapella adding to it (if that's what you want), rather than the acapella dominating the track.
Yeah your right... That was the first acapella ive ever used and brought the tempo down on the vocals instead of the latter. My mistake for that. Now I know. Also I know im a little loop crazy. I record alot of what I do and most of it is just practice. So when I learn something new thats sounds cool I have a hard time not doing it again and again until I get sick of it and realize its too much ! Im still very green and thats why I came here. I realize there are many flaws here and criticism is a very positive thing for me. I came looking for someone to tell me what I was doing wrong so I could learn from it. My last post garnered no responses so sorry if I sounded like i'd created the best thing since sliced bread... ;)
Should work on making longer mixes
