Any VPT video mapping experience?

I work for a company that throws large scale highschool parties in Arizona and our company works hand in hand with a production company. Recently we decided to explore video mapping to continue setting our company apart from the others. Since then I have downloaded VPT 5.1 and have been overwhelmed since then.

Where can I find good tutorials for VPT?

Why wont VPT recognize my hercules 4-mx, would it be possible/easier to run my Numark Arkaos with VPT and my Hercules on the Numark VJ program?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
