Weird s4/pro2 problem
Past couple of times I've used my s4 I've had to change the tempo clock to master as if it's set to auto my tracks will randomly slow down to like 112bpm or something else absurdly low. Anyone else experienced this and is it something completely simple that I'm missing?
Cheers

Sounds pretty strange and it is hard to make a suggestion to help with this description.
Can you describe what is happening in a bit more detail? Explain like if you wanted that we reproduce the same thing on our S4s.

I think that's part of the problem. I wouldn't know fully how to recreate what happens. Basically I'll set the master clock to auto so that the master deck changes with each new track. Then randomly part way through a track the tempo will suddenly jump down to say 112bpm. Tempo clock still set to auto. Track then remains at that slower tempo unless I manually change it. From memory this isn't isolated to one specific deck either. Happens on A and B. Only way to resolve is to set tempo clock to master and play at a fixed tempo throughout the set.

That's odd, never heard of it. Using auto as well

yeah i cant get my head round it. ive not really had time to explore the issue fully as its been mid-party so im gonna have a good mess around with it tomorrow daytime and see whats going on. i neeed to tidy up my laptop as well so gonna give it a fresh install and see how i get on. strange that no-one else has experienced this.
To be fair its not a huge problem as all of the music i play is generally at a set tempo anyway but its an issue that shouldnt be happening!

Did you file a support ticket?
-
No not yet. Don't wanna hassle them with something unless I'm sure it's not user error.

Is the beat grid of the track it happens in "steady".

It definitely happens to beat gridded tracks. and they are all locked if thats what you mean?

I had the same thing during a set a few weeks back. We were punching in around 126 or 128bpm and all of a sudden I was back to 122?
