why do you need midi to midi???
To connect it to my Maschine?
i take it youre just using the maschine software at the moment? (not running it as a VST in a DAW)
why not just get a USB keyboard and either
a) run machine as a vst plugin through another DAW and use a keyboard with that
or
b) i would imagine that you could use a usb keyboard with the maschine software
(EDIT - http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...d.php?t=116670 -- pretty sure thats exactly what you need to do, and was just a quick google search away)
^ exactly from what I'm gathering OP was wanting to run his keyboard through the maschine hardware??? I don't see the point of that.
i would imagine to be kinda like the imaschine app (has the pads, and 2 keyboards for melodies)
i mean the moar buttonz the bettah ammiright?
I dont get why he needs a Midi to midi keyboard though? does the maschine have it's own HDD of samples and what not? I thought the maschine hardware worked with the software as one.

Midi in/out
I wanted a Midi cable keyboard because after i plug in my Maschine, I have 0 USB ports to spare for a USB Midi keyboard.
So the easiest thing to do would be to connect a midi keyboard directly to the Maschine, right?
pretty sure the axiom series, the oxygen series ,amongst others have midi out.
I'm pretty sure you can only do that if it has a thru port as well as midi in/out :)
