Once I've fixed a drifting track in ableton what option do i use to then export a permenantly changed version of this now perfect time track ready for Traktor Beat Grids?

In the file menu i believe you want export audio / video....
First you'll need to place you now warped track into arrangement view, just a matter of grabbing it from session and moving it across...
The you highlight the track and select export, it'll give you options on the quality etc. i tend to just use what it recommends....

No worries, it took me ages to find it once they'd changed the menu item between 6 and 7!

if you warp an mp3 and export it as mp3 again, will this be effectively transcoding the file, therefore reducing the quality yet again?

I dont know the answer but I dont see how you would NOT be loosing quality (due to the reasons stated above).
However, why not just export as WAV then encode to .flac?

What Im wondering about is "normalizing". I find myself having to do this when I export as wav or the analyze job does not really work properly (at least the was it is displayed in traktor).
Anybody else experience this?
