Ableton Production Template used and created by Dubstep group Helicopter Showdown!
They posted this on reddit and I am passing it on here:
Quote:
Ableton Project that has tracks loaded and waiting for content to be made on them. A lot of the tracks have info text on them, and there is a Read Me in the zip to help get you started. Hopefully it gets you going.
We have spent a long time to make this as bad ass as possible. You may not utilize every function that we do, but hopefully this makes Ableton easier to use to make your ideas happen.
• You need at least Ableton Live Suite 8.2.1 and the latest version of NI Massive for this to work. You also need to install TT Dynamic Range Meter to get the most out of this Template. If when you open this template you get a warning that it can't find TT Dynamic Range Meter, just go to the "Mix Track" and replace the misplaced plugin with your Dynamic Range Meter plugin of choice.
• Some of the tracks have info text when you hover over their titles, so be sure to check out everything. There is some helpful information in there.
• The Green Groups only hide away the tracks inside them. The tracks within the groups are routed to the Orange Mix tracks. No audio passes through the groups. This is because Group Tracks, Return Tracks, and the Master Track are not allowed to be copied from project to project through Ableton's file browser. The way this project is set up, you can drag every important feature from this project into new projects that either have or haven't ben set up with this template.
We'd love to hear your kick ass music. You know, once it sounds good and shit.

They are also possibly in the works of making a new track and ableton set for the purpose of sharing a whole unaltered live pack to show their entire workflow and how they build and mix a track, not just clips with rendered stems- the entire thing as it was produced.
Regardless of whether this type of music is your thing I think this is really damn cool of helicopter showdown helping out other producers and being so willing to share their process.
