Hi guys, the other night [mid-set] the Traktor search bar just stopped working properly. Every time I started typing into it it was coming up with no results. I was definitely clicked onto the whole collection node and the bar was clear before I started typing, and it was not finding obvious stuff that I definitely have.
I'm not sure if this was because of something stupid I'd done or just a bug, but has this every happened to anyone else?
Oh, a restart of traktor didnt help either...
I had this once. I could not drag and drop playlists onto Favourites either.
I tried to ditch my TraktorSettings.tsi and i could copy it but not paste it or drag it.
Traktor restart did not fix it.
Had to restart my Mac. 'Seems' like it was a Mac problem but no proof of that.
How did I know Karlos would come to the rescue on this one?
Well, maybe not 'rescue' but you've reassured me a bit.
It was a really annoying thing to happen mid set, kind of like having to dig through a record bag in the pitch dark.
Mine also didn't sort itself until after I'd rebooted the mac.
Interested to know if this has happened to anyone on PC, as it seems like 100% Mac problem so far!
Yeah i dont have a solution or a clue as to why it happened but, i had just Force Quit 'TuneUp' the crappy piece of software that im using to apply artwork to some music within iTunes.
As soon as i Force Quit 'TuneUp' pretty much every basic operation like drag n drop locked up.
Still, that doesnt explain your issue.
Im prepared to put this one down to a one off despite my concerns.
That's interesting because you've reminded me that I did have itunes open at that time as I getting a tune that one of the barstaff had requested. Maybe something to do with the two being open?
Sorry to drag this thread up, but this same thing has happened to me the last 2-3 times I've played out. Everything is fine then suddenly, search just doesn't work. It's starting to really piss me off and slightly worry me!
