cartridge question

ok, since I have some troubles finding Ortofon Concorde cartridges, I have decide to go with Shure M44-7 on one deck.

Now the problem is I'm not sure how to mount cartridge on headshell and if there is any problems with it, since I used cartridges like concorde before who came without headshells. I have 2 standard Technics headshells with old Stanton 500MK2 which I have never removed so I'm not sure if there is any problems with mounting ?

So any advice how to mount cartridge on a headshell ? Help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this is the correct way, but this is how I do it.

Connect the wires by matching the colors on the cart to the colors on the headhshell.

Line the cart up flush with the end of the headshell.

Screw the cart onto the headshell. I put the nut on the top of the headshell and screw it from the bottom, but some people do it the opposite way.
