This is what I read in the comments:

'He says it's a midi controller his friends from Oxford University have designed for him. They are trying to mass produce it in time for it to get on the market by this year.'

Interesting. Can't wait to find out. Looks like potentially some effects knobs at the top of the unit (??).

Reminds me of a sleek more conventional version of the Otus (LINK)


BTW... James Holden is legendary. Seen him twice. His Balance CD mix is one of the greatest of all time.

Didnt even see him use that controller but once to press 1 button, sounded like the same track the whole time? Looked cool!
