How would you route sync'ed AUDIO from an Ableton VST into the S2?

We have Ableton's clock sync'ed perfectly to Traktor's midi clock out. Done.

The next step is to get the VST's audio running INTERNALLY in Traktor (as one of the 4 channels). Is this possible?

Right now the setup is: Kontrol S2, Audio 2 DJ, Ableton Live, VST.

Additionally, we've got all this working on a mac. Let's say I want to replicate this same setup using my PC though. Since PC's don't have the "virtual ports", this would be the equivalent solution needed, right? --> http://nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html

I know I can easily just get an S4 and run the Audio 2 DJ into to the Channel C RCA inputs on the back of the S4. The S2 doesn't have these inputs!!!!!! ugh!! But we really want to make this work on an S2. We're almost there right?!

(Planning to buy the Arturia Spark which would run as a VST in ableton, sync'ed to Traktor. The back of the Spark has NO RCA ouputs either!!! Simplest solution could have been RCA outputs from the Spark - if it had them - into the Channel C inputs of the S4. But now that I realized the Spark has no RCA outputs, I'm willing to make this work through Ableton into an S2 if possible)

Why do you need to run the audio back through your DJ Controller? Is there something you need to do to your tracks in Traktor? You sound like you're trying to route audio in some complex fashion. I presume you'd want to use Ableton's "Ins" to collect sound from Traktor and route all of your Outs through Ableton to your Sound Card. You can set your volume controls and process all of your incoming audio with VSTs in Ableton as well as trigger any samples there... later, if you want to get some physical MIDI controls for your triggers and volume controls, you still can.

If you're dead-set on routing Outs from Ableton into Traktor, you can configure your PC to handle virtual ports (at least with Asio 4 all), but your best bet is to get a sound card that can handle ins and outs instead of making the computer do a work-around.

yes but the midi clock won't be as efficient as using virtual ports.
You'll also probably need jack audio to route all the audio.

DigitalTiger, thanks man. Yeah I'm probably not being clear enough because I myself am confused about all this and am such a noob. But basically all I want is Ableton's VST audio to go into Traktor so that I can use one of Traktor's channel faders to bring in that VST whenever I want.

I'm slowly understanding the whole virtual ports on PC concept. I definitely have to do the Jack for windows thing as shown in the youtube Yul posted.

Yul, the only difference is in that video they are showing how to route Traktor into Ableton using the DJM. I don't need Traktor routed into Ableton at all. I need the opposite. I also would rather not have to use another midi controller just to control Ableton. I simply want S2 + Spark drum machine (running thru Live) + ??? (whatever else is necessary to make this work).

All this seems so complicated to me and I'm sure I'm making it more complicated than it should be :-P Staying positive though!!

Ok so latest discovery is that the Arturia Spark has a "MIDI clock in" feature. I read this from the manual they put out for the newest features on the latest firmware (1.4):
