Problem with traktor into ableton using jack router

okay so I havent seen this specific question asked yet so decided to post I have traktor routed into individual channels in ableton using my s4 sound card in external mode the audio is routed fine as well as midi sync the problem Im having is im trying to create a mixer section in ableton but when ever I adjust the channel eqs on the song thats playing it only partially works as in the low end sound changes but theres still low end sound or if its a pitch fader if i slide it all the way down the song sounds less full but it doesnt go away Im thinking it has something to do with traktor still outputting sound through jack audio to my s4 so essentially the song on deck a is being output by both ableton and traktor through jack i think??? dont know if this makes any sense as its kinda hard to explain in typing but if anyone could help it would be appreciated!!
