Beatport has some remixes in the Hip Hop and Pop/Rock sections I believe. Soundcloud would be a good source too I reckon.
Yes, you could find interesting remixes on SoundCloud if you do good search word searches. Awful stuff, too.
80's remixes? These have to be the easiest thing to find. P-Diddy has made a career out of 'em!

Some gem remixes of some classics would kill it around here and give me the opportunity to slowly transition into some standard house music if i get them dancing and after a few drinks they wont even realize where i have taken them on the journey. People around where i live dont like EDM aka "techno" as they call it because its just that "Techno". Completely biased but if opened correctly and after plenty of typical bar/party songs and of course drinks, they wont even notice that they are bobbing there head at the song i played on the jukebox 2 weeks ago that they skipped because it was just "too repetitive".
