So I just started a new job recently and one of my managers has this scar going from the corner of her mouth up to her ear. Im talking straight up joker/ black dahlia shit and its extremely noticeable. Now shes a sweet girl and I really dont want to ask her whats up with it because the only reason I can think of for that is some horrific stuff that happened against your will. Can someone think of any other reason, medically perhaps, that you would have that scar?
could be a car wreck or a childhood injury...just don't stare at it man!!!
I worked with a guy with something very similar. Seems he was jumped and cut as part of some guys initiation into a gang. Wrong place wrong time.
i try not to but its really big and when im not i get the feeling she thinks i am. whatever happened i can imagine that hurt A LOT
I'd ask her - I suppose it depends how well you know her but if you chat to her just ask, I'm sure she's come to terms with it.

tina Fey has a similar but less noticeable scar on her face too. finds out she got slashed when she was 5 from some random. This is confirming my theory
