Traktor screen flickers every time I load a track

Hi everyone. I'v been using Traktor Scratch Pro on my 2009 Macbook Pro 13" for the past 3 years, and recently I've been experiencing a small flicker of the screen when a new track is loaded into a deck on traktor. I'm using Traktor v2.6 and my OS is X10.8

This doesn't seem to occur every single time I load a new track, but it happens enough to worry/annoy me. What happens is that I load the track and the screen flickers for less than a second. No sound hiccups or anything, it looks as if the graphics freeze or something for a brief moment.

Has anyone had this issue? Would it have anything to do with my midi controller settings? Maybe the in/out ports are incorrect?

I was using an Audio 4 DJ with timecode vinyl and a Kontrol X1.
