I enjoyed most of the tunes, the sound is quite different from when I used to listen to hardstyle a bit (its a lot less raw now, not sure if I get skrillstep influence, that sounds weird in hardstyle, maybe I just don't like anything about skrillstep), the mixing, however, seemed rather simple, it was executed fine, just not too exciting. End one tune, bring another's build up, nothing wrong with that, but when it's done every single time especially with such a high energy genre like this, it's kind of bland. No offense hopefully :P

No offence taken at all mate. I couldn't agree more actually when it comes down to mixing the newer Hardstyle tunes. They are all produced exactly the same, 32 bar intro, straight into the first break. I love the energy of the genre, but it is quite bland to mix with. Even watching the big DJ's doing it, it's all done the same. I'm just happy someone listend to it and took the time to leave some constructive feedback :thumbup:

I prefer trance / hard trace for mixing with, as you can do a lot more with it IMO.

I'll check out some of your other mixes, man, you got me interested, I know very little about hard trance. You got mixcloud by any chance?
