Traktor DJ on iPod Touch 4th Generation

I am running Traktor DJ on a 4th Generation iPod Touch (iOS 6.1.2)

I was playing a song on some high quality earbuds on the iPod standard player and I thought "this track would sound good with that track."

So I opened up Traktor DJ and loaded the first track and immediately noticed a difference in sound.

It sounded like crap. Could be that Traktor DJ converts stuff to mono?

You try it. Listen to a track on the iPod player and then load it into Traktor DJ.

Is it just my iPod?
