So my computer is not super fast. I have a 1.4ghz Processor with 3.6 gb of RAM. I can't use hardly any plugins and my tracks are not sounding very good because of that. I have to constantly sacrifice a high quality plugin for something bad like3xOsc. Any Ideas?
Freeze your tracks. Lots of really light CPU synths out there too that sound amazing. Many of us were making pro tracks on much less hardware than that in the past, don't use your gear limitation as an excuse :) In the meantime, keep saving for a faster computer too!
Something people rarely mention here but can have a big impact on your computer. using disk cleanup and disk defrag can free up a lot of space in your computer as well and make it run a lot smoother
