Traktor Scratch Calibration issues.... no help from NI

Hi all,

My searches have thrown up quite a few threads from this forum so it seems I need to be on board.

I'm sure many of you have had the pleasure of waiting from NI to offer some kind of support, by the time they get round to me, my equipment will be out of date.

Traktor Scratch Pro
MB i7 retina

I've battled through 1 dilemma after another and now I'm at the final hurdle; everything is working fine but the timecoded vinyl just wont calibrate. The scope seems to read the correct circles without too much noise but it keeps stating "check needles/vinyl" and "calibration failed, unknown medium". I did have it working for a very short time but it was loosing calibration ad now it wont work at all.

I've taken the steps of cleaning the needles/tome arm/vinyl, setting the balance and tone arm up according to standards, switching to (and playing around between) Line/Phono on the Audio 4..... I've got the TT's grounded to the Audio 4 and check/repaired a bad earth.

I know NI has a forum for this but its akin to shouting into a cavernous abyss.

Any help appreciated!
