reccommend a serato controller for basic manual non-sync mixing / scratching

hello,

i'm looking for a recommendation on a serato controller for basic non-sync button mixing...

basically i want something as close as possible to the experience of a pair of club grade CDJs and a mixer. i mainly play on 1200s and Pioneer CDJs and this will be a setup for the random long distance / overseas gig. something way more portable than a standard setup but that feels and functions close to what i am used to in clubs.

i play a wide range of tempos and styles so i'm not interested in the sync function.

in most of the demo videos for the controllers i've looked at, the platters and tempo faders aren't really ever touched...

ive looked at the vestax 380 and the pioneer ddj sr and they both seem decent. pioneer definitely looks a bit more "official" and the vestax is way more portable...

anyone have any experience with this kind of thing? or bought something based on similar needs? thoughts?
