Concidering buying used Traktor Kontrol X1 and F1 mk1 - any good?

I came over a guy selling his Traktor Kontrol X1 and F1 mk1, not much wear and tear supposedly, and everything should be working ok he says. What do you guys recommend? Is they any good? I'm fairly new to DJing, and will use them with my Numark Mixtrack Pro II (maybe I'll get a S2 or S4 sometime in the future) to control remix decks and effects mainly. Will they work ok together with my controller in Traktor? Anyone who has tried this combo?

Edit: The price he's asking is about 230$ for the both.

$230 for both? I'd be grabbing both myself....but I'd still make sure to demo them before laying down the cash.


To be honest, you MIGHT be better off spending the $230 on music over the next few months....

I would maybe look into getting an s4 as you may get a little more use out of it then with the x1 and f1. especially since you want to use the remix deck maybe an f1 and s4. The x1 is more for deck control and effect control and if you got a s4 then there really wouldnt be any use for the x1 any more. i meself personally use a z2 and x1mk2 great combo i would use an f1 but i dont use the remix decks that much. Best suggestion! Go with what ya feel! :D

I have this very combo (a mk2 X1 though) and it works fine.
