Using Traktor S4 Mk 2 with Ableton Live 9 for creating DJ "mix tapes"

Currently I lay down simple DJ "mix tapes" in Ableton's Arrangement mode, so all of the transitions are perfect, but I would like to add more of a "live" feel to the mix, say cutting back and forth from one track to the other using the crossfader, and ideally even spinbacks using the jog wheels.

These finishing touches would be added after the mix has been laid down in Arrangement mode, so I assume would be recorded as midi events afterwards.

I think it is possible to lay down crossfader events by assigning the crossfader on S4 to Master crossfader in Ableton, however I am not sure it is possible to assign the jog wheels to the track to perform a spinback (or turntable brake).

Does anyone know if this can be done, and if so, if there are any Ableton templates for Traktor S4 that can allow me to do this?

I know that sounds stupid and off topic related to your question but I can't get off my head that sense of wrongness while reading your post.

If you can think of any other software that will allow me to do what I want to do, then feel free to suggest.

I've tried Mixmeister, but this doesn't work well with midi, at least I can't get it to recognise the S4.

Just do it live. Recording in traktor is easy and you can use Ableton to clean up the source later if you wanted.

hes asking if there is any way to route each deck into a different audio track into ableton .. i'd love to know how to do this too!!
