Just found this on the Mixvibes Site:
Gonna try adding the "+fullproc" to my Traktor shortcut when I get home. Gotta be worth a try...Quote:

Traktor is already capable of using multiple cores.
And it has its own built-in Multi Core option in the settings.
Traktor does not use multiple cores/threads like games do. There is a massive amount more happening in games to properly utilise multiple cores/threads.
From what I can see Traktor only used multiple cores/threads when analysing tracks, in general playback it only ever has 1 active core/thread. In my X58 i7 pc Traktor sits at about 2% usage and bumps up to 15% when I load a track that it analyses and on the bar graph (threads) this is seen as 1 thread peaking out (12.5% of my total CPU power available).
You can go into Resource Monitor to see a bit more about what's going on.
Also, there's another registry mod to make sure that all of your CPU threads do not park/sleep (another gaming trick to stop stutters) but from what I remember it's only useful on 4 core or more processors.
Exactly, so using this command is going to do squat.
