To scratch with the crossfader with a Chroma Cap, apply transparent tape to both sides of the Chroma Cap. That will provide a slick surface for your thumb and fingers to easily glide the fader without the sticky rubbery feel.

...or just get one of the Glow In The Dark Chroma Caps. They are hard plastic.
I've got Chromas on all my S4 and S2's and I've replaced the squidgey fader caps with Glowing goodness.
oh yes, i seen those glow in the darks, looks dope! it would also be cool if there was color plastic faders too for easier scratching :)
Yeah just noticed can't scratch for shit with the regular ones. Way too sticky great tip!!
I use other caps for scratching. I have a bunch of chroma caps and like them because they make things easier to see in low light conditions (as compared to black) but never use them on the cross fader.
