I've heared there are some issues with the S4 MK1 and USB 3.0 connections. I'm pretty your MacBook should have 3.0 USBs so you should opt for an MK2 controller.

After close to 5 years I'me about to replace my 13" Macbook Pro (2009) . I could either purchase a non retina macbook or the retina macbook (13") However just wanted to make sure Traktor Pro 2 and S4 MK1 and X1 controllers are compatible ?
