Circa 1999 a room mate owned a toy called something like "DJ Box" and it was a rather heavy grey box about the size of an old video tape player with built in speakers. Basically the thing had a few loops from various genres of music, samples and an effect area. Was a toy with no real use professionally but you could play on it for an hour easily. All my googling comes up with nothing so I obviously have the name wrong. Does it ring a bell with anybody?
