Traktor setup advice for sax player/Digital DJ

Hello!

I seriously need advice. I'm a sax player who djs as well. Before this I was using Ableton but recently I've discovered that Traktor is just way quicker to setup. I need advice on a setup where I can have let's say 2 decks for songs, and then record my live sax loops and trigger then via remix decks or something like that. I love the traktor effects and it would be awesome to effect my sax loops.

Affordability is also a factor HEHE. Maybe an S2?

This is something I've been meaning to get setup for a while now. You can't use a live input deck as a source for a remix deck - you will have to use the loop recorder to record from the aux input as per this guide:

You can then drop the contents of the loop recorder into a remix deck slot pretty easily. From there you are away!

I'd have thought that your minimum setup for this would be something like the S2 and then preferably an F1 as well (failing that a cheap pad controller and a custom mapping should be OK)
