Development of new iOS MIDI Controller/Digital Instrument

Hi,

I'm currently in the final year of a BSc (degree course) in Music Production. For my final project I'm developing a MIDI controller/digital instrument, featuring an innovative 'trigger glove' / touchscreen control mechanism.

The basic concept is the combination of:

• A 'MIDI Trigger glove', with multiple pressure sensitive fingertips, capable of generating MIDI note on/off messages….

• … Paired with a touchscreen iPad interface, most likely in the form of an X/Y controller mapped to a variety of parameters. This interface could potentially utilize iOS 'multi-touch gestures' like swipe, rotate, pinch etc. to give an extra layer of control.
