I found a good deal on some pioneer cdj 1000 mk3's, but are they that great? Should I get it?
this depends on what you currently have & what you may want to do in the future
the CDJ 1000's offer no HID support for Serato or Traktor
they will work w/ timecode CDs though
they also do not have the quantize feature to beat sync effects
if you are new to the craft, looking for entry gear or just want to do traditional mixing techniques w/ CD's they would be great
they are workhorses & are quality gear, I have had my MK2s for over 10 years now had to replace 1 of the platter sensors a few years ago, but that is the only problem I have ever had.
