Deejanes? Come on, you can find a less cheesy way to put it, female DJs are deejays just as much as men are, now you're being sexist. :p

We've had a few floating around over the time I've been here. Monika is the only one that has really stuck around, I believe.
I've got a couple of girl dj friends, but none on this forum haha.

I would like to see more deejanes out there.

There's a stronger distinction between male/female in the german language. We say "der DJ", which is masculine. So somebody in the 90s came up with "DJane" to emphasize a DJ's femaleness.
I hate this term but most "DJanes" seem to embrace it.
I'm gonna call myself TraktorTarzan from now on.
