Any Deejanes Out Here ???

I asked myself if we had any Deejanes here ? Had the feeling its nearly 'men only' here ... So Girls, feel free to show you're here ;)

Deejanes? Come on, you can find a less cheesy way to put it, female DJs are deejays just as much as men are, now you're being sexist. :p

We've had a few floating around over the time I've been here. Monika is the only one that has really stuck around, I believe.

Dunno how it is in the USA but in Germany we call them deejanes, maybe because there are just a few, to give them more attention :)

More girls should start deejaying, its the best way to conquer a boys heart, everybody knows ;)

I would like to see more deejanes out there.

i broke all of their hearts with my handsome looks, posting on here gives them too much hurt now.

There's a stronger distinction between male/female in the german language. We say "der DJ", which is masculine. So somebody in the 90s came up with "DJane" to emphasize a DJ's femaleness.

I hate this term but most "DJanes" seem to embrace it.

I'm gonna call myself TraktorTarzan from now on.
