Looking at a small setup to,play around with at the house. Don't want to spend the $$ on a S4 and don't really care about jog wheels. Would I be better of with a X1 and Z1 to play with my iPad?

Looking at a small setup to,play around with at the house. Don't want to spend the $$ on a S4 and don't really care about jog wheels. Would I be better of with a X1 and Z1 to play with my iPad?
It would be cheaper to buy an S4 ($600) than an X1 MK2 ($200) and Z2 ($600) together. Also, I'm pretty sure the Z2 isn't compatible with Traktor DJ (iOS).
If you plan on primarily playing using your Ipad then your best best bet would be S2 mk2 or S4 mk2, they can be picked up used pretty cheap. If you don't like using jogwheels for nudging you could download one of the mappings that use them for effects. That or you could buy an X1 and Z1 and you'll have a really portable setup.
