I just got a Omni control off ebay and windows is saying the device has malfunctioned when i plug it in. It also came with an aftermarket power supply of correct V/Amps but i thought these run on usb alone?
Any idea's how i could fix it? I've tried both a laptop and pc but no joy and Traktor LE doesn't light the unit up nor does it perform any functions.
The power adaptor doesn't turn any of the lights on either?

Return it and get a refund while you still qualify. Assuming this was dirty cheap there's a reason behind that and the fact that it's not being detected on either of your computers ain't helping. Windows displays that kind of message when a USB port on a device is messed up or the unit as a whole is fried.

Yeah i've already started the returns process i just hoped it was something i could maybe solve.
I'm not unfamiliar with a soldering iron or technical stuff so i was curious if it was something i could sort myself. it was only £25 posted to me so dirt cheap really.
