Hi Everybody,

It's been so long since I looked into this forum and site and I see big changes.
Work took me away too often and my DJing skills suffered big time.

I Still have the 1st addition S4 Controller and 2 midi fighters,
Midi fighters stopped working for no reason since they where in my cupboard for too long. :)

Being a novice user I still would like to find the all in one effects unit to add to my S4.
I don't like using the knobs on the S4 for that, too confusing to find my ultimate type of setup.

Any advice please.

Something easy to setup with white noise fade, echo freeze etc. Or even an easy setup with ableton and some preset effects.

I understand that you guys work hard to get your gear tweaked to perfection.

I don't play the easy trance and Psytrance blend as most of the youngsters here are into that.

Any good advice to start with will be appreciated.

You havent actually asked a question or explained what your problems are.

Saying you dont like using the FX knobs on the S4 to control FX is weird without further explanation.

He wants to use "one button" effects presets, not knobs to control individual effects one at a time.

He wants a control surface to map them to ;)

an akai MPK mini is the solution for your needs , or any similar midi keyboard product , a suggestion.
