Rane 64 and MACOS Sierra
I have had my Rane 64 working with Serato and Traktor with no issues for quite a while. I upgraded my Mac to OS Sierra and now the Rane 64 isn't recognised by Serato at all and in Traktor the sound card works but none of the midi controls do. This is I believe because Rane have not updated their drivers yet. I will be rolling back my Macbook however, does anyone know when Rane will be updating the drivers. I have contacted Rane but have had no response yet.
I assume my assumption is correct, has anyone else had any similar issues?
I should of read the info on Seratos page that says don't upgrade to MacOS Sierra yet if you have a Rane 64!!!!

what im hoping for is for the 64 to get traktor certified....

Just do what I did and change the hexicode and you can certify any mixer https://youtu.be/7eEkWPbqK28Then download my tsi file for the 64 in the midi maps section on DJTT, its the only Rane 64 one.
PS all working again now i've gone back to Yosemite

yah im aware of the hacks, but would like an officially endorsed traktor 64 option. and why not, other ranes do it....

I don't think any of the older Rane mixers like the 64 will ever be Traktor Scratch certified especially now Rane has been taken over by InMusic who also own AIR, Akai Professional, Alesis, ▲lto Professional, Denon DJ, Denon Professional, ION Audio, M-Audio, Marantz Professional, Marq lighting, MixMeister, Numark and SONiVOX.
You never know but I doubt it. The hack takes 10 minutes and its stable. This will do me for now.

so i tried to do this work around, but its not quite working. i managed to change the hex, and i used the terminal command to find the exact name of the mixer , etc. the mixer shows up in traktor preferences for audio setup, input and output routings, BUT it still showing scratch as disabled. any ideas?

1. I am on Traktor 2.8.0, I have heard that NI closed the back door to change the hexicode however, in the latest version of Traktor it is back open again to do this hack although I have not tried.
2. I assume you have copy of Traktor Scratch and not just Traktor Pro?
3. Make sure your input and output routing is set as follows
a. Deck A 3: Rane Sixty Four Out 2
a. 4: Rane Sixty Four Out 3
b. Deck B 5: Rane Sixty Four Out 4
b. 6: Rane Sixty Four Out 5
c. Deck C 1: Rane Sixty Four Out 0
c. 2: Rane Sixty Four Out 1
d. Deck D 7: Rane Sixty Four Out 6
d. 8: Rane Sixty Four Out 7
e. Output and input FX Send 9: & 10:
4. I assume you actually change the hex code and saved it.
Other than this it should work.

yah i changed the hex, zeroed out the extra hex digits ,saved it. I did have to screw around with my permissions in the traktor files to allow me to overwrite , because it did not want to let me, but it did save, and when i pull up traktor , it sees my mixer in the audio set up section, but scratch control remains disabled. im on traktor 2.10.3, idk... the stupid thing is , i HAVE a NI Traktor A6, i just dont want to use it...all the extra cables etc. Ive used traktor for years , but recently got a deal on my 64, which is awesome, but im not really feeling serato, at least not yet.....it would be great to just be able to use traktor :P
