Space constrained set up
Hi all, been a while since i've been on here...! Looking to get back into a set up after a period out. I've been kicked out of the spare room due to an impending delivery (read child) so the only place I have to set up on is half a laid down Ikea Kallax (top and spaces below) on which to fit a laptop, controller, speakers and amp... a bit of a challenge! I need:
- Suggestions for a small but effective 4 channel controller with jog wheels - i'm old school... Max say £350?
- Suggestions for a small amp/speaker combo, my other amp has been commandeered for vinyl in the lounge...
- Ideas for packing it all into a small space - pictures of set ups etc etc...
Any help would be great!

Congrats on baby :)
I'd say this is the only new 4 channel controller i can see new in your price range with jogs - no idea what it's like. probably perfectly good!

Otherwise i'd be looking for a 2nd hand Traktor S4... You still got traktor license?
Speaker wise, defo just get powered monitors. These look decent.

Ha thanks, its got to be brought up right so need music in the house! I clicked on your link for the controller and then saw the Reloop - i've been using a two channel Reloop for the last 7 years, its been pretty faithful but its on its last legs now so a decent shout!
I've just checked out active speakers - never thought of not using an amp before - but I like the idea of saving space, stupid question but how do you connect the output from the controller to two speakers?

Hey mate, soz for slow response.
Well with the Mackie's you just use an RCA phono cable into the powered speaker... of the pair one has the amp in basically. Have a look at the photo of the speakers rear. Simples really
