Traktor Kontrol D2 Alternative - DDJ-SP1?

Hey,

I'm a DJ who's been using Traktor for the past 4-5 years or so, and I've experimented with a variety of setups. I've recently been using a pair of Kontrol D2s with a DJM-900Nexus mixer, all via USB, and am pleased with the versatility of the D2s, however do not like the setup time and the mess they create in the club. Ideally I'd like to switch to something like the DDJ-SP1 to retain the full functionality of the lower half of the D2s, and possibly use timecode CDs on the club CDJs...

I was wondering if anyone had used an SP1 in a similar way to how the D2s are mapped. Key functions I'd ideally like to retain would be the Play and Cue buttons, the full 8 pad functionality to work as cue points, loop and jump, and freeze mode, as well as the FX knobs being setup in a similar way to the D2s. Aside from that I don't think there's anything else I'd need that I couldn't do with the CDJs.

If anyone's got any tips or feedback on how to go about this, I'd much appreciate it!
