i think your mis-reading chris :p, this is what were discussing, its making existing traktor users pay for the same software again and again, they shouldve just sold it with TP2 LE and knocked $80 off the price tag. ive had TsP, then upgraded to TsP2, bought an s4 so now have a spare license lying about, if i buy the F1 im going to have two spare licenses lying about, correct? so ive given NI and extra $200+ for software i dont need.

and who actually buys software anymore? ive had mine in the forum at a pretty cheap price for a month now, and on ebay and nobody has even sniffed at it

Its what i been doing for a while, but will be absolutely TIT now.

I'm stoked! Really happy they fixed tap, I've been missing it working properly. It will also be nice, if bpm detection works as advertised, to do less work beat gridding.

I wonder if the ability to change the amount of quantize will also work on track decks, as I find it useless for cue juggling with it as it is.

I also wonder if using the new remix deck is going to increase the load on my CPU, as my laptop already struggles when using 3-4 decks and Fx. Guess I'll find out May 30th, lol.

I do appreciate NI making it a free upgrade, just wish you could get the F1 without the software and cheaper.

What people need to be aware of is that the F1 price is the price of the Kontroller. Traktor Pro come FREE with it.
They arent gonna discount the controller for those that have TP already cus its coming FREE.

Theres no way they will do the F1 cheaper than that. Its priced about right.

If the software wasnt free with it then this point would be mute.

Also consider that this is a great way for NI to get new DJs onboard with Traktor and and F1 who will possibly expand and buy an S2 or S4.

No-one is buying the software again.

Traktor comes FREE with the F1. Big difference.

No-one is buying these spare copies of Traktor cus its coming FREE with a lot of hardware which, if the arguments ive had with people over the years is to be believed , is exactly what everyones always wanted.

SSL is free why isnt Traktor. Well, it is now.
