Mate, you'll have to get in line behind half of this forum for the M70 :P That thing is like, the perfect DJ mixer. AND its only £280.

Wow, really? So this is a thing people know about? How on earth did this slip by me? I really should check threads other than this one some times...
That's one of the main things that interested me about it, I have a thing for DVS capable mixers. One of my little pipe dreams is to make xwax plug and play with every one of them on the market. :)
I had one. It is an alright mixer-the filter is pretty awful, and sound quality wise it is OK. The layout is way too cramped, the buttons feel really cheap, it has all sorts of fun quirks with the firmware (like it will get stuck in a reverse "self feedback" mode?!?!), the mixer is 16bit digital only (it is a DSP mixer, not analog), but feature wise it is pretty epic. I also have a Z2 and a Vestax 05proIV-between the 3, the Vestax is a much better mixer and the Z2 is a much better feeling MIDI controller, but the Voxoa has decent legs as a "replace all your controllers" mixer. That said, for the money it costs to import you can purchase a Pioneer DJM-T1 and get 90% of the buttons and an actual Traktor box.
People are excited because they never tried it, but it is a "good value" mixer, not necessarily a "good mixer".
Cheers for the info :)
Although, not convinced about the DJM-T1 bit... they're £549 and you can get the Voxoa for £295 (with free shipping) http://www.teknowdj.com/m70-hybrid-m...etCurrencyId=5
You'll probably get hit with another £60 import tax if it ships from outside the EU. Add to that the cost of DVS capable software/hardware and it isn't a huge amount less than the T1.
The software cost doesn't exist if you already own your software or if it's gratis.
this is what we should have done all along.... Just talk about other products in this thread.... It would have better illustrated Nemonic's failure that any number of us explaining it directly haha.
