Try duckduckgo. Read about the ! syntax. It was created by a group of google developers who got sick of google's business practices and left. Its results are at least as good but less influenced by your browsing history. And they don't store histories of what anyone's searched for. Also, because google shopping, images, and maps are kind of the best things at what they are, ddg acts as an intermediary so everything goes through SSL encryption (secure socket layer, not any of the music SSLs) and your results are, again, not influenced by your browsing history.

It's literally google search but better in every way……except the google doodles that are sometimes pretty cool.

We seem to have had a lot of newcomers lately which is great for the site but some seem to have brought a YouTube comments mentality with them which is really sad to see.

This may all just be the ramblings of someone nursing a hangover or I may have a point. Just thought I'd put it out there.
