I really think you're overwhelming yourself with all this equipment. Just stick with one controller, you don't have to spend all your money at once.
And this is only FURTHER reinforcing my belief that you still don't know what the audio card is used for... The Studio4A already has a built in audio card.Quote:

Hahahahaha this is an epic thread, when i was pm'ng you earlier I didn't know u we're literally just starting out buddy. Scrap everything I said, take the advice of most people on here and start simple. get either a mix track, a CMD4a, or an s4 and learn how to dj first. There's no use worrying about what to buy and how to hook it up if you don't even know how to dj yet. I'm starting out as well, but I researched hardcore and figured out how everything works before I bought stuff. I built my set up slowly, learned each piece of gear and all of its functions, realized what i needed/wanted next, and then got it. I got a mf3d on Craigslist for $75, a CMD DV1 for $50 on DJTT forum, and my buddy heard I was djing and gave me his mix track ($100). I also have iPad running touch osc for fun but seriously it's starting to get gnarly with the slew of buttons knobs and options. Start small, learn the basics, then build up to your perfect set up. Stash your money and learn first.

Headphones
Good Music
Weed

If actually done something similar with the launchpad on ableton 8 using slice mode to chop up a song into 1/8 of a note and play each piece on the launchpad buttons. Pretty Sick to!

I'm thinking if this mode can be incorporated in TP... Wouldn't it be funny if NI come up with some hardware for this and keep it locked for other controllers :)
