Fresh breaks track I've been plugging away on...
Nice acid stabs! Reminds me of a couple of old Robosapiens tracks. That getting a release?
Yes man :) Just had to keep it for myself over the summer festival season. Should be out in a month or so.
:D Robosapiens! My old duo Vipercorps did a remix of one of their tunes. Have a download.
Legend! What's the scene like in Canada? There's still the odd night on in London, but I find they're usually breaks/bass/UKG nights rather than the way it used to be. The Stantons still know how to move a crowd though and play pretty regularly...
"Breaks nights" per se are few and far between. I'm on the West Coast so can only speak for this area...and BC is a large place...but Atomic Hooligan was recently in Vancouver for a show. There is a lot of ghettofunk ish stuff going on out here and the odd bigger name comes through once or twice a year (Stantons etc).
I'm hoping things go full circle. With the popularity of the mid tempo ghettofunk ish sound being quite popular out here, people might be warmed up enough to hear some faster breaks eventually. Still holding out here, but I'm a jaded old man (standard for breaks right?)
