youre missing the point.
lets look at her linked in profile
she was never a dj, shes a marketting executive using viral marketting techniques to help apple market the ipad.
she was never into music or dj'ing until magically she decides in line (yeah right) to buy 2 ipads and start dj'ing.
lets also look at her keynote from an advertising and marketting seminar she gave for MARKETTING IPHONE APPS.

as a dj thats really actually into music, and has been. it completely pisses me off to see someone claim to be what i am, and what everyone in this community is, under the guise of simply making money?
think about it this way. how pissed off would you be if, hypothetically speaking, ean was caught on tape saying he "hated dj'ing and just wanted to make money on a website in the post .com bubble burst, web 2.0 marketplace using social networking as a tool to drive advertising and sales revenue in the 21st century?" (hypothetical quotes)
youd be furious
this is the same thing and she deserves and has begged for every single troll post shes recieved thus far.
this has nothing to do with sexism. hell, the biggest reason i didnt give up on digital dj'ing was armyofme from the very forum. my favorite dj right now is also a girl. anna kiss from di.fm. i think her set programming is genius. so much so that when she came out to l.a. i showed up, the day before thanksgiving at a club in the boonies.
the point being. in my life, the 2 most influential people in the dj world to me, are both girls. you can stop the sexism bus right there.
