So confusion over, once I update the S4 software to TP2 I can uninstall the S4 software that came with S4 controller, and just use the new updated one? So I will have only one software running to use the S4 and the X1 and A6?

EDIT: You said "upgrade" but didnt NI say that S4 users will recieve a free update to TP2?

yes, and if you purchase any kind of Scratch upgrade, it will replace the TP2 with TSP2 and you will once again have just one software, working with all controllers and audio cards and with timecode.

What would be the best controller for me to control the sample decks?
I have a Faderfox DJ2 for EQ, Fader, Tracksearch and so on and a Midifighter for midifightering ;).
What would be the best?
A controller with buttons only for start/stop the sample? Or a controller with faders to have the volume option? I´m confused and need an advice.

aren't the volumes controlled by channel faders on samplers? you could use a nanopad or a dicer (what i'll be remapping) for it. something buttony. with a button mapped for volume...

X1 mapping for sample decks control will be provided by default.

I very much like the reloop contour, although I doubt i'm gonna get it. It just looks great and learning the manual, the mapping possibilities are amazing!

Decks C and D are controlled by the channel faders. If you have those decks set as sample decks the channel fader lowers and raises the volume on those sample slots as a whole. An ideal controller would be something that had eight buttons for the individual sample slots and eight knobs to control the volume (and filter with a shift) of each individual sample slot.
