Cheers man! Yeah I fucked up on that blend, there was another one that was a bit messy but I was pleased with how it came out overall. I was thinking of making it 3 separate mixes for the different genres covered but I like a bit of a musical journey in a mix.
I totally agree on Rustie being difficult to mix, same with Hudson Mohawke and that whole 'Post-Dubstep' sound. Did you catch his essential mix though?

Yeah I heard it a few weeks ago, pretty cool mix, a lot of hip-hop which I don't normally listen to. Exactly, Hudson Mohawke and Rustie goes pretty well together though (not that it's that surprising).

I find that too aha. I think thunder bay is just about the only hudson mo song i can mix easily and cleanly.. Afterlight big rustie isnt too bad, but still never too smooth!

I really like the Dirtybird stuff that was posted earlier, Waiting by Christian Martin is simultaneously banging and groovy. It's funny that I got into DJing because of Electro House but more and more I'm creeping the Tech House and Techno sections of Beatport.
