I'm always changing my setup!
My preferred setup is Maschine, faderfox & Audio 10 but I'm soon incorporating the Korg Nano Kontrol for Sample Decks.
I still use the S4 sometimes, and I'm loving the S2!
The X1's are a great tool for teaching people how to use Traktor.
I use it all in different situations. The mothership video was more to show people how many controllers you can hook up to a PC and have it all work together. Microsoft asked me to do the video. I wouldn't use all that gear at a live show though. Its unnecessary. But I could!
Also a soon to be announced Traktor update is making me really love using vinyl with Traktor again!

You need to load the controller editor file in the controller editor AND load the TSI. That was probably the problem.

Also make sure that in the Traktor Controller manager your ports are set correctly for the Maschine controller. Select Maschine in the device dropdown menu and set both the "In Port" and "Out Port" to Maschine. Then it should work like a charm!
It was probably me no setting the In and Out Ports correctly, because i know for a fact that the controller editor and TSI files were loaded correctly. Believe me, me and my friend sat and struggled for hours trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Ooh the frustrations we had lolQuote:

One of the big reasons i was interested in using the Maschine and Traktor together is because i think i could create something really cool utilizing both the Maschine and possibly the S2. The Maschine really is an awesome piece of hardware.
