You guys are the best eh :D
So the American Audios are the ones. Is it worth getting the next one up with the bonus level? Bung the soundcard on there maybe...

Hey karlos, so is it a hassle to bring to a gig then? Will it not fit in the Vestax bag too?
Where did you get the vestax bag btw, cause decks.co.uk don't seem to have it.
I'd like to order them from the same place if possible so as not to pay 2 shipping fees ideally
cheers fellas

it will fit i am sure. disassembled its quite small. its just that the thing is a lot of work to take apart and put together .. and its also fairly heavy. but then again its very good at its main task .. keeping that laptop stable.

I got the Bag from Thomann in Germany mate. I got good service from them.
It comes with the softcase for the VCI which doubles up as a neat thing to cushion the VCI when you use it.
The laptop stand will fit in the vestax pack if you disassemble it no problem.
I just cant be arsed assembling it at every gig so i leave one in the managers office at 2 different venues.
If your not gigging every other nite its no hassle to put it together and take it apart again though mate.
Its way less heavy than the Magma version.
We had 2 more stand delivered today for the club cus the manager didnt want people putting there laptops on top of the CDJs.

Ok sweet!
So, before i pull the trigger on this, if i get the bag from thomann in germany I can get the Millenium stand (which is the same as the American Audio??) at the same time?

One more guy satisfied with the millenium/american audio stand here. I have the smaller one and no complaints except, as everyone else has said, I wouldn't take it apart all the time.
You may not be able to tell by the pictures but you can adjust the height *and* the width a little bit(the middle bars are in three parts : one long, and two screw-on extensions about 1 inch long each).
In fact, I'll go ahead and shrink it so the two front rubberized caps don't bump into my laptop's headphone jacks :D
Extra tip re: these rubber caps : they're at a straight angle, so laptops with a curved front bezel will tend to slide down - this shouldn't be a problem with any macbook.
