Dont what to even get going into the MED thing, but truth is the guy is no musician, Sierra Leone is just a straight edit of an actual remix of the original song by a little known producer. Im opening for him in four weeks though... should be interesting to see what his DJ sets are like...
An actual musician you should check out is Alexis K, you will find her on sound cloud, she makes amazingly musical dubstep .... her remix of Sierria Leone is worth checking for comparison, she used only the vocal sample and everything else is her own composition
