Your theory and outline are actually rather influential.
Upon reading the template I must say I agree with much of what you said. I myself spend monotonous hours separating the hundreds and hundreds of tracks I get together in torrents by the "energy" as you call it, of the songs. Also separating the purely instrumental from the vocal based tracks.
The problem I was attempting to convey was more along the lines of the lack of the genre's original feel. Alot of new artists veer from the common "filth" while also neglecting the minor keys and dissonant harmonies. Simply bringing a oscilation to 140 bpm and occasionally throwing a twangy wobble over it just doesn't suffice for me D:
