I've got the new 2011 15" 2.0 model. So far I've had one freeze, when I loaded up Safari to many pages to fast and it froze. I had to shut Safari down and restart it.
Other than that its been ok, I hope this issue gets sorted out soon!
I've had no problems with the 2010 macbook pro...but...
I have had an issue with my ipod nano :D basically it doesn't work properly with my car stereo because of a firmware update. There is a big thread on the apple forums about it. While I still think apple products are generally way more solid than PC...they really need to be careful they don't lose their good image by not testing stuff properly!! iPhone4 is another example...

I've got the 2011 15" and it's fine. Apple released an update that is meant to have addressed the problems anyway.

I've got a new macbook pro on the way and i am SKETCHIN!!! I'm thinkin about returning it after reading that!!
