Could really use some help (reloop dj2 IE / Traktor Pro)

No worries man. Read the manual, it's not that long and you'll have a better understanding of what's happening if something goes wrong. Even better, get the Traktor Bible. I've never read that, but I hear it's really good.

Basically what you want to do is this. Once you've selected your audio device (let's say you're using the reloop with its 4 out channel sound card), click on 'output routing' in preferences. It looks kinda like this:

1. Make sure 'internal' is selected
2. Identify the output channels you want to use for your speakers (usually 0 and 1) and select those channels in the 'output master' menus
3. Indentify the channels you want to use for your headphones (usually 2 and 3) and select those in the 'output monitor' menus

Then try playing tracks again. Make sure the 'mix' knob next to the master volume is set to 0% so that the headphones only play the cued track and not the master output at the same time.

Any problems I have had with my Reloop's sound were down to this.

Everything is running very smooth now. I recorded a live set tonight for a friends "radio station" and I'm uploading the mix to http://www.soundcloud.com/drop-cntrl if you'd like to hear what I do with my set up ;-) Thanks again for all the help...
